QV1 Descent questions re postponement of event 2020

Coronavirus updates to charities

This is probably no surprise to everyone, but with all of the escalating measures around the coronavirus in the interests of playing our part to minimise risk to you, Urban Descent is deferring the QV1 Descent to October/November this year.

We hope that you will stay on board to complete this amazing challenge later on this year and support all the charities who rely heavily upon generous donations generated by you every year. The great thing is that this actually gives you more time to fundraise and reach your goals.

However, for those who wish to receive a refund, this can be arranged. We have provided some responses to frequently asked questions below:

We hope to provide new dates by the end of May.

Yes, if you contact Urban Descent at marketing@adventureout.com.au we will refund the money minus a 15 per cent administration cost and the My Cause fees.

Yes, that would really help out a lot of charities who are doing it tough right now. If you wish to do this please contact us at marketing@adventureout.com.au.

Fundraising pages will be kept open and you can continue to get support from your network and receive donations in the lead up to the event later on this year. If you decide you no longer wish to participate donations provided will be passed on to the charity.

We will run the event again in April 2021 as we do every year.
